Mayo Health System Appoints New CEO

Mayo Health System, based in Rochester, Minn., has named Robert Nesse, MD, as its new CEO, according to a report in The Post-Bulletin.

Dr. Nesse served as CEO of Franciscan Skemp Healthcare-Mayo Health System in La Crosse, Wis., for seven years, according to the report. He will now oversee the 70 locations the health system has in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa.

Dr. Nesse succeeds Peter Carryer, MD, who is retiring.
