Mayo Clinic Health System names Terry Brandt its Southwest Minnesota region administration chair

Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic Health System tapped Terry Brandt to serve as administration chair for its Southwest Minnesota region, which includes six hospitals and 22 clinics.

Mr. Brandt, along with James Hebl, MD, regional vice president at Mayo Clinic Health System, will be responsible for the Southwest Minnesota region operations’ overall performance. Mr. Brandt is currently the associate administrator for practice operations at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. He will take on his new role at the end of 2016, when current Southwest Minnesota region Chair of Administration Rich Grace retires.

Over the course of his career with Mayo Clinic, Mr. Brandt has held finance-related leadership roles as well as led multiple clinical departments in practice operations. He is a fellow in the American College of Medical Practice Executives.

“Mr. Brandt brings a wealth of experience to this role, including proven expertise in strategic and operational management, business plan development, quality process improvement, financial and operational analysis, and facility design and utilization,” said Dr. Hebl in a statement.
