Mayo Clinic CEO to Retire

Mayo Clinic President and CEO David Cortese, MD, will retire in November, according to a report by the Post-Bulletin.

Dr. Cortese has worked for the clinic for 33 years and oversaw the development of two new Mayo hospitals during his tenure.

A search committee will begin interviewing candidates to succeed Dr. Cortese and will submit a report to the clinic’s board of trustees in May.
