Matt Mathias named CEO of StoneSprings Hospital

Dulles, Va.-based StoneSprings Hospital has named Matt Mathias CEO, effective Jan. 1, according to the Loudoun Times-Mirror.

StoneSprings is part of HCA Virginia, and Mr. Mathias has been with HCA for 14 years. He most recently served as COO of Houston-based Clear Lake Regional Medical Center.

“He has a strong track record in growing complex clinical service lines in a highly competitive market while increasing employee, patient and physician engagement,” said John Deardorff, president and CEO of HCA’s Northern Virginia market.
