Boston-based Massachusetts General Hospital selected Jovita Thomas-Williams to serve as senior vice president of human resources, effective April 29.

1. Ms. Thomas-Williams is currently vice president of HR at Yale New Haven (Conn.) Hospital.

2. She was formerly vice president and chief HR officer at University of Toledo (Ohio) Medical Center.

3. She succeeds Jeff Davis, who retired in December 2018.
