Martha’s Vineyard Hospital in Oak Bluffs, Mass., has appointed Claire Seguin, DNP, as president and COO, effective Jan. 1.
Ms. Seguin currently serves as chief nursing officer and vice president of operations at the hospital, according to a Dec. 16 news release. She also served as chief nursing officer at Nantucket (Mass.) Cottage Hospital and as interim vice president of operations for the Mass General Brigham Community Division.
Before joining Martha’s Vineyard Hospital, she was associate chief quality officer for Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. She brings more than 30 years of clinical experience and two decades of executive leadership to the role.
Ms. Seguin succeeds Denise Schepici, who is retiring Dec. 31 after serving as president and COO since 2018.
Martha’s Vineyard Hospital is part of Somerville, Mass.-based Mass General Brigham.
