Marshall Medical Center names Siri Nelson CEO: 4 notes

Placerville, Calif.-based Marshall Medical Center has tapped Siri Nelson to serve as CEO.

Four notes:

1. Ms. Nelson will transition into the role over the next six months.

2. She most recently served as CEO of South Meadows Medical Center in Reno, Nev.

3. She previously served as CFO and interim CEO at Sutter Amador Hospital in Jackson, Calif., and chief administrative officer at Sutter Lakeside Hospital in Lakeport, Calif.

4. Ms. Nelson succeeds James Whipple, who is retiring after a 38-yesr tenure at the hospital, including 16 years as CEO.
