LifePoint names CFO of Western Group: 4 things to know

Brentwood, Tenn.-based LifePoint Health has named Shannon Fiser CFO of the company’s Western Group of facilities, effective May 16.

Here are four things to know about Mr. Fiser.

1. Mr. Fiser, a certified public accountant, most recently was senior vice president of finance for Ardent Health in Nashville, Tenn.

2. During his tenure at Ardent, he was responsible for financial oversight of three regional health systems, which included 15 hospitals and physician groups. He also managed the corporate supply chain team, as well as a business intelligence unit and the company’s operations finance group, LifePoint said.

3. Prior to Ardent, Mr. Fiser served in various financial leadership roles for healthcare companies including Lattimore Black Morgan and Cain PC (LBMC), Hospital Corporation of America and Symbion, all based in Middle Tennessee. 

4. Mr. Fiser earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tenn., and a master’s degree in accounting from Belmont University’s Massey Graduate School of Business in Nashville.
