David Bunch named new CAO of Cumberland Medical Center: 3 things to know

David Bunch has been named president and chief administrative officer of Cumberland Medical Center in Crossville, Tenn., effective April 25, according to a Crossville Chronicle report.

Here are three things to know about Mr. Bunch.

1. He succeeds Jeremy Biggs, who was named president and chief administrative officer of Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, Tenn.

2. Mr. Bunch has more than 12 years of experience as a hospital CEO of various facilities, including Heritage Medical Center in Shelbyville, Tenn., and Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Jefferson City, Tenn.

3. Mr. Bunch earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Tennessee Wesleyan College in Athens and a master's degree in health services administration from the University of Alabama – Birmingham.
