Bruce Tassin was appointed CEO of Georgetown Community Hospital and Bluegrass Community Hospital and market president of Clark Regional Medical Center and Bourbon Community Hospital, in addition to Georgetown and Bluegrass, effective Jan. 1.
He will oversee all four Central Kentucky hospitals, which are part of Brentwood, Tenn.-based Lifepoint Health, according to a Dec. 9 news release.
Mr. Tassin brings more than 30 years of healthcare leadership experience to the role. He previously led Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, La.; Christus St. Vincent Regional Medical Center in Santa Fe, N.M.; and CommonSpirit Health’s CHI Saint Joseph Health in Lexington, Ky., according to the release.
He has also held several interim leadership roles within Lifepoint.
Lifepoint’s footprint spans 33 states, with 60 community hospital campuses, more than 70 rehabilitation and behavioral health hospitals, and more than 300 additional sites of service.
