Lewis County General Hospital appoints new CEO

Lowville, N.Y.-based Lewis County General Hospital has appointed Gerald Cayer, MPH, as CEO, according to the Daily Bulldog.

Mr. Cayer previously served as executive vice president at Farmington, Maine-based Franklin Community Health Network and also led the department of Health and Human Services in Portland, Maine’s largest city.

Mr. Cayer earned his master’s in public health from Boston University and has served as chair of the University of Maine at Farmington’s Board of Visitors.
