In this role, Mr. Cook will be responsible for the day-to-day management and operation of the KentuckyOne Health Medical Group’s Louisville market. These responsibilities include ensuring the medical group has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, staff and systems in place to effectively grow the organization. He is also responsible for maintaining the medical group’s financial strength and operating efficiency.
Additionally, Mr. Cook plans to develop and maintain the infrastructure of administrative operating systems among KentuckyOne Medical Group clinics.
Most recently, Mr. Cook was the founding lead executive for Waukesha, Wis.-based ProHealth Solutions. Prior to that, he was chief administrative officer for Waukesha Elmbrook Health Care, a clinically integrated independent practice association. Mr. Cook has also led physician practices for Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Ill., and served as president of Caritas Physician Group in Louisville, Ky.
