Since 2008, Ms. Candio served as CEO of Inova Alexandria (Va.) Hospital, and as senior vice president of Falls Church, Va.-based Inova Health System. She also currently serves as the chair of the American College of Health Executives.
Ms. Candio began her career as a nurse. Over the last three decades, she has served in various nursing leadership positions at several hospitals and gained extensive healthcare operations and executive leadership experience.
Ms. Candio received her master’s degree in public administration with a focus in healthcare management from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, N.J.
