CommonSpirit Health was formed by the merger of Englewood, Colo.-based Catholic Health Initiatives and San Francisco-based Dignity Health in February.
Three things to know:
1. In her new role, announced May 14, Ms. Sprengel will oversee the Southwest Division, which includes nine acute care hospitals and four micro-hospitals in Southern California and Nevada.
2. She most recently served as division president for Dignity Health’s Southern California region.
3. Ms. Sprengel has a nursing degree from LAC/USC and an MBA from Pepperdine University in Malibu, Calif.
