Jon Morris, MD. Senior Vice President and CIO of WellStar Health System (Alpharetta, Ga.). Dr. Morris completed his medical degree from Indianapolis-based Indiana University School of Medicine and has been a practicing emergency medicine physician since 1980. In 1986, he joined Marietta, Ga.-based Kennestone Regional Medical Center, where he continues to practice today. In 2011, he became CIO of WellStar Health System and previously held various other roles at WellStar, including interim CIO and the system’s first CMIO.
