Here are five things to know about Mr. Rossfeld.
1. He has more than three decades of healthcare leadership experience.
2. Most recently, he was CEO of The Memorial Hospital at Craig (Colo.).
3. He also previously served as CEO of several Southern California hospitals, including San Dimas (Calif.) Community Hospital, Sherman Oaks (Calif.) Hospital and Encino (Calif.) Hospital Medical Center, as well as Gila Regional Medical Center in Silver City, N.M., and Salt Lake Regional Medical Center in Salt Lake City, among others.
4. In his new position, Mr. Rossfeld is an Alecto employee, but will be on-site full time to oversee AVH’s daily operations.
5. Mr. Rossfeld earned a Master of Public Health in hospital administration from the University of California, Los Angeles and a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
