USC Verdugo Hills Hospital names CEO: 4 things to know

USC Verdugo Hills Hospital in Glendale, Calif., has named Keith Hobbs CEO, according to a Los Angeles Times report.

Here are four things to know about Mr. Hobbs.

1. He began his new role Jan. 4.

2. During his tenure at USC Verdugo Hills, one of the first major projects will be the addition of a new neonatal intensive care unit, Mr. Hobbs said, according to the report.

3. Prior to his new role, Mr. Hobbs was vice president of ancillary services, support services and supply chain at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. In that role, he had oversight of operations and financials of several departments such as radiology, pathology, anesthesiology and critical care medicine, according to the report.

4. Mr. Hobbs replaces Paul Craig, who served as the interim CEO of USC Verdugo Hills.
