John H. Noseworthy, MD. President and CEO of Mayo Clinic (Rochester, Minn.). Dr. Noseworthy first joined Mayo Clinic in 1990 before working his way up to the position of president and CEO in 2009. Previously, Dr. Noseworthy was the chair of Mayo’s Department of Neurology, medical director of the Department of Development and vice chair of the Mayo Clinic Rochester Executive Board. In his current position, Dr. Noseworthy implemented a plan to ensure Mayo Clinic remains a trusted resource for patients. The plan included expanding a proton beam cancer therapy program with two treatment centers and developing a Mayo Clinic-affiliate network of high-quality medical practices throughout the country.
