Jennersville Hospital selects permanent CEO: 5 things to know

Jennersville Hospital in West Grove, Pa., appointed Claire Mooney, DNP, RN, its permanent president and CEO.

Five things to know:

1. Dr. Mooney became interim leader of the hospital in November.

2. She was previously the hospital’s chief nursing officer.

3. She has worked at West Reading, Pa.-based Tower Health, Jennersville Hospital’s parent, since 2016, prior to which she was director of nursing at Lancaster (Pa.) General Health.

4. In addition to her nursing degrees, Dr. Mooney holds an MBA from Alvernia University in Reading, Pa.

5. She is the founder of NurseWorthy, a company focused on helping nurses transition into leadership positions.
