Jeff Coakley is Oswego Hospital’s new COO: 4 things to know

Oswego (N.Y.) Health selected Jeff Coakley to serve as executive vice president and COO of Oswego Hospital, according to an Oswego County Today report.

Here are four things to know:

1. Mr. Coakley joined the health system in 1997.

2. Since then, he has played a key role in planning and developing many facilities within the system, including Oswego Heath’s retirement community.

3. He is a member of the Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development.

4. He holds an MBA from Syracuse N.Y.-based Le Moyne College and was named a rural healthcare worker of the year by the New York State Association for Rural Health in 2013.
