IU Health selects new East Central Region COO for critical access hospitals: 3 points

Indianapolis-based Indiana University Health named Rodney Stevens COO for critical access hospitals in the East Central Region, a newly created role, according to a report by the Star Press.

Here are three points:

1. Mr. Stevens is currently chief nursing officer for IU Health Blackford in Hartford City, Ind., a role he will continue in along with his new position.

2. In his new role, Mr. Stevens will help oversee operations at IU Health Blackford and IU Health Jay Hospital in Portland, Ind.

3. He has 35-plus years of healthcare leadership experience.
