Iowa hospital taps chief ambulatory officer as COO

Floyd County Medical Center in Charles City, Iowa, has promoted Jon Perin to COO, effective Dec. 14.

Mr. Perin had served as chief ambulatory officer at the hospital since July 2024, according to a Dec. 15 hospital news release. In his new role, he will oversee specialty care services, market development, laboratory, radiology, therapy services, nutritional services and the rural health clinic.

He will also serve as designated backup to CEO Dawnett Willis and contribute to strategic planning, governance and system-wide operational initiatives.

Floyd County Medical Center is a 25-bed critical access hospital and rural health clinic.
