Salt Lake City-based Intermountain Health named Scott Peek president of its Peaks Region, effective Aug. 16.
Mr. Peek will oversee business and clinical operations across the region’s markets in Colorado, Montana, Eastern Wyoming and New Mexico, according to an Aug. 12 health system news release.
He most recently served as the region’s operational lead and market president for the Colorado Front Range. Mr. Peek joined Intermountain in January 2023 as Colorado Front Range market president.
In his new role, Mr. Peek will also serve as the strategic leader responsible for Intermountain’s Catholic assets and represent Intermountain on the board for its joint venture with Altamonte Springs, Fla.-based AdventHealth in Colorado’s Front Range.
Before joining Intermountain, Mr. Peek was a senior vice president at Dallas-based Baylor Scott & White Health, where he oversaw joint ventures, proactive care models, strategic planning and performance improvement.
