Mr. Loveless is leaving Good Samaritan to take a position with an unspecified Arkansas hospital, according to the report.
Mr. Loveless became interim CEO in October after serving as vice president of ancillary and support services for the hospital.
The hospital board will continue its search to find a permanent leader for the hospital, and is currently considering six candidates, according to the report.
