Mr. Gay resigned from his previous role as president and CEO of Logansport (Ind.) Memorial Hospital in March after helming the hospital for seven years.
His new role is effective July 10.

Perry Gay is the new CEO of Lutheran Downtown Hospital in Fort Wayne, Ind., according to local news station WANE.
