iHealth names chief growth officer: 4 things to know

iHealth Solutions, a healthcare software and services company based in Louisville, Ky., has named Justin Barnes partner and chief growth officer, Healthcare IT News reports.

Here are four things to know about Mr. Barnes.

1. His appointment follows iHealth Solutions’ recent acquisition of Piscataway, N.J.-based revenue cycle solutions provider DNA Healthcare. With this acquisition, iHealth adds DNAH’s proprietary technology to its portfolio, as well as major hospitals and medical clinics across the East Coast to its customer base.

2. Mr. Barnes also hosts the weekly syndicated radio show “This Just In” on Healthcare Radio and Business Radio X.

3. Previously, he was a member of the leadership team at health IT vendor Greenway Health, where he worked for 11 years primarily serving as vice president of marketing, industry affairs, corporate development, government relations and international affairs.

4. He has formally addressed or testified before Congress as well as the last two Presidential Administrations on more than 20 occasions.
