HSHS St. Francis Hospital appoints CEO: 4 things to know

HSHS St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield, Ill., named Jim Timpe president and CEO, effective Dec. 11.

Here are four things to know:

1. Mr. Timpe most recently served as director of imaging services, rehabilitation services, sleep and neurodiagnostics at HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, Ill.

2. He joined Springfield-based Hospital Sisters Health System seven years ago.

3. He previously served in leadership roles within the radiology services arena in Illinois.

4. Mr. Timpe is a member of the American College of Health Care Executives.
