Heart of America Medical Center CEO Patrick Branco to retire

Patrick Branco, CEO of Heart of America Medical Center in Rugby, N.D., is retiring Dec. 1, according to The Pierce County Tribune.

Mr. Branco has served as the hospital leader since late 2015, during which time he helped turn around the financially struggling hospital, according to the report.

He previously worked at Duluth, Minn.-based Essentia Health, serving as president for two hospitals and eight clinics in North Central Idaho, according to his LinkedIn profile. He is a U.S. Navy veteran.

Heart of America Medical Center includes an acute care hospital, three clinics, a full-service laboratory and rehabilitation and wellness services.
