HCA’s Kendall Regional Medical Center taps Brandon Haushalter to serve as CEO: 4 things to know

Hospital Corporation of America East Florida in Fort Lauderdale named Brandon Haushalter CEO of Kendall Regional Medical Center in Miami, according to Miami’s Community Newspapers.

Here are four things to know:

1. Previously, Mr. Haushalter served as CEO Johnston-Willis Hospital in Richmond, Va., and CEO of Bluffton Regional in Fort Wayne, Ind.

2. He has also worked in hospital leadership positions in Birmingham, Ala.

3. He earned his master’s degree in business administration at the University of Alabama-Birmingham.   

4. He succeeds Scott Cihak who is left to serve as CEO of HCA’s TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn.
