1. Mr. Masi has served in the organization’s top post since July 2014.
2. During his tenure, he oversaw the health system’s response to Hurricane Harvey and the expansion of its level 1 trauma center.
3. He joined the health system in 2001, initially serving as administrator of Harris Health Ben Taub Hospital in Houston. He became COO of the system in 2006.
4. He is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.
5. The health system’s board hopes to name Mr. Masi’s successor by early 2020.
