Here are five things to know about Dr. Jones:
1. Dr. Jones oversees Harmony’s medical strategy and clinical direction of medical services and quality improvement for both Harmony and WellCare Medicaid members.
2. She served as medical director and interim CMO for Chicago-based Aetna Better Health of Illinois.
3. Dr. Jones was previously director of ambulatory care at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, among other roles at the university.
4. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, Ill., and her MD from the University Health Science Center at Houston School of Medicine. Dr. Jones completed a postdoctoral internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at The State University of New York at Buffalo.
5. Dr. Jones is board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist licensed in Illinois and a member of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the Illinois Department of Public Health Perinatal Advisory Committee.
