Dr. Varga will be the health system’s senior medical leader overseeing its physician enterprise.
Before joining Hackensack Meridian Health, he was a senior executive vice president and chief clinical officer of Arlington-based Texas Health Resources. He also served as chief clinical officer of Louisville-based KentuckyOne Health and as CMO of Saint Joseph Health System in Lexington, Ky., St. Louis-based SSM Health and Louisville-based Norton Healthcare.
Dr. Varga earned his medical degree from the University of Louisville.
