Gregg Olson returns as CEO of Rochelle Community Hospital

Rochelle (Ill.) Community Hospital has appointed Gregg Olson CEO, effective in January.

Mr. Olson comes to the hospital with 38 years of leadership experience. He was CEO of the hospital from 1999 to 2007, during which time it gained critical access hospital status and opened an urgent care and multispecialty clinic.

Most recently, Mr. Olson served as a consultant and analyst for Roger Holloway Healthcare Consultants and prior to that, he was president and CEO of Aspirus Medford (Wis.) Hospital and Clinics.

He replaces Daniel Schwanke, who has been serving as interim CEO since February.
