Grand Itasca Clinic & Hospital selects Jean MacDonell as CEO

Grand Rapids, Minn.-based Grand Itasca Clinic & Hospital named Jean MacDonell president and CEO, effective immediately.

Ms. MacDonell has served as interim president of the hospital since March, following Mike Youso’s departure.

Ms. MacDonell has spent 12 years working at Grand Itasca Clinic & Hospital, serving as vice president of clinic services before becoming interim president. She has also served as the hospital’s director of health information management and registration, vice president of support services and compliance officer.

She has 21 years of healthcare experience.
