Lafayette, Colo.-based Good Samaritan Medical Center named Jennifer Alderfer president, effective Sept. 25, according to a Daily Camera report.

1. Ms. Alderfer serves as president and CEO of North Suburban Medical Center in Thornton, Colo.
2. She was previously CEO of The Medical Center of Aurora (Colo.).
3. She is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
4. She holds an MBA and a master's degree in health administration from the University of Colorado at Denver.
5. Ms. Alderfer succeeds Dave Hamm, who has retired.
