Ric Magnuson, former interim executive vice president and CFO of Vancouver, Wash.-based PeaceHealth, has joined the system’s board of directors, according to a Sept. 8 news release.
Mr. Magnuson served in the interim role with PeaceHealth from June 2025 to September 2026. Matt Swafford succeeded him as executive vice president and CFO.
With more than 40 years of healthcare finance experience, Mr. Magnuson started his career as a bedside nursing assistant before switching to finance.
Prior to his time at PeaceHealth, he served as CFO of Minneapolis-based Allina Health in the greater Minneapolis-St. Paul area.
“We are deeply grateful that Ric will continue serving PeaceHealth in this important capacity,” PeaceHealth president and CEO Sarah Ness, said in the release. “He guided many of the financial stewardship initiatives that are strengthening our organization and will be an excellent addition to PeaceHealth’s System Board.”
