Matt Swafford has been named executive vice president and CFO of Vancouver, Wash.-based PeaceHealth, effective Sept. 21.
Mr. Swafford will succeed Ric Magnuson, who has served in an interim role since 2025, according to a July 21 news release shared with Becker’s.
With more than 36 years of banker, advisor and nonprofit health system CFO experience, Mr. Swafford currently serves as CFO and senior vice president of strategy and finance at Bend, Ore.-based St. Charles Health System.
He has also advised nonprofit systems across the U.S. on financing, investments, long-term planning and strategy.

PeaceHealth is a nonprofit Catholic health system that comprises nine medical centers and more than 160 clinics. It has approximately 16,000 employees and nearly 3,200 clinicians and physicians, the release said.
