Barbara Wadsworth, DNP, RN, has been appointed interim chief nursing officer of The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, effective Aug. 31.
Dr. Wadsworth most recently served as COO of Radnor, Pa.-based Main Line Health and was senior vice president and chief nursing officer before that, according to an internal Mount Sinai memo shared with Becker’s.
During her tenure, Dr. Wadsworth advanced nursing excellence, improved patient and workplace safety, and played a key role in Main Line Health’s systemwide Epic implementation, the memo said.
She stepped down from her role at Main Line Health on Aug. 1.
