Firelands Health System selects Jeremy Normington-Slay as CEO

Firelands Health System in Sandusky, Ohio, appointed Jeremy Normington-Slay president and CEO, effective in October.

Mr. Normington-Slay most recently served as regional president for the North Central Region of St. Louis-based Ascension Health’s Wisconsin market. His prior roles include serving as president of Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh, Wis.; CEO of Moundview Memorial Hospitals and Clinics in Friendship, Wis.; and vice president of ancillary services at Cherokee (Iowa) Regional Medical Center in Cherokee, Iowa.

A trained physician therapist, Mr. Normington-Slay also holds an MBA from Plymouth (N.H.) State University. He has served on the Wisconsin Rural Health Development Council twice.
