Eric Evans is Tomball Regional Medical Center’s new CEO: 4 things to know

Tomball (Texas) Regional Medical Center, part of Houston-based HCA Gulf Coast Division, tapped Eric Evans to serve as CEO, effective immediately.

Here are four things to know:

1. Mr. Evans formerly served as CEO of East Houston Regional Medical Center.

2. He has worked at Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare for 22 years.

3. A member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, he holds a master’s degree in health services administration from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C.

4. He takes over from interim CEO Brett Kinman, who will continue serving as COO of the facility.
