Dr. Schlechter has prior experience as chief of staff at Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital. She has also served as chief of the department of obstetrics and gynecology at the hospital. She is a founding partner at Women Obstetrics & Gynecology in Nashville.
She serves on the board of directors of the Nashville Academy of Medicine.
In addition to her training in obstetrics and gynecology, she holds a PhD in comparative endocrinology from the University of California at Berkeley.
