Dr. Palmer, who assumed his new role last month, previously served as CMO of the Lorain market for five years. He initiated a partnership with Cleveland-based MetroHealth to bring the first level 3 trauma program to Lorain County.
He previously was national director of hospitalist medicine at NES Health in Tiburon, Calif.
Dr. Palmer is a board-certified emergency room physician.
