Dignity Health taps Douglas Watson to serve as Arizona area CFO

San Francisco-based Dignity Health appointed Douglas Watson CFO of its Arizona service area, which includes five acute care hospitals and a number of specialty care centers.

Previously, Mr. Watson served as CFO and COO for PeaceHealth Medical Group, the ambulatory services division of Vancouver, Wash.-based PeaceHealth. Before that, he was a strategy and finance partner in a number of healthcare management consulting companies, including The DW Financial Group and ECG Management Consultants.

In his new role, Mr. Watson will oversee Dignity Health Arizona’s financial goals and budgeting processes, while also helping grow services and partnerships.
