Dignity Health names new chief strategy officer for Bay Area market: 3 notes

San Francisco-based Dignity Health selected Mona Chadha to serve as chief strategy officer of its Bay Area service area.

Here are three notes:

1. Ms. Chadha most recently served as president of Precision Navigation Consulting, which is focused on early stage life science companies.

2. She was also COO and co-president of WaferGen Biosystems, a biotechnology company.

3. In her new role, Ms. Chadha will lead strategic initiatives at hospitals in the Dignity Health Bay Area service area, which includes:

• Dominican Hospital in Santa Cruz, Calif.
• Sequoia Hospital in Redwood City, Calif
• St. Mary’s Medical Center and Saint Francis Memorial Hospital in San Francisco
