Mr. Jantzen currently serves as executive vice president of operations and COO for the health system. He will replace former CFO Robin Kilfeather-Mackey.
The change in leadership reflects the health system’s focus on population health, value-based care and new payment models to improve patient care and to lower costs for families.
“Dan Jantzen is uniquely qualified to lead the increasingly complex financial functions of this $1.9 billion enterprise,” said James N. Weinstein, MD, president of D-H health system. “Navigating today’s health care environment, with multiple payers, numerous payment models, changing regulations and challenges at the state and federal level requires deep knowledge and a thorough understanding of all aspects of the health system and its path to the future. Having served as CFO and then diving deeply into operations for six years, Dan is a perfect choice for this critical role.”
