Covenant Health has made leadership changes in LeConte Medical Center in Sevierville, Tenn., and in its Fort Loudoun Medical Center in Lenoir City, Tenn.

Connie Martin was  promoted to president and chief administrative officer of Fort Loudoun Medical Center effective April 4. She was previously vice president and chief support officer at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.

"Having worked closely with Connie for over 14 years, I can tell you she has an unparalleled work ethic with an unwavering commitment to quality, service and most importantly, our patients," said Mike Belbeck, executive vice president of operations at Covenant Health. "She is an individual with a servant heart who leads with integrity and compassion. I look forward to our continued work together as she moves into her new role."

Aaron Burns was also promoted to president and chief administrative officer of LeConte Medical Center, and took the reins at the end of March. Prior to his promotion, he served as the vice president of support services at the center.

"Aaron Burns has been an asset to LeConte since joining Covenant Health and is already well respected by employees and physicians at the medical center," Jim VanderSteeg, president and CEO of Covenant Health said in the release. "He also has worked successfully with other Covenant Health leaders and employees on a variety of initiatives."
