Jonathan Cohee, CEO of Delta (Colo.) Health, exited the organization Nov. 15.
Mr. Cohee recently informed the board of directors of his plans to step down from his role within the next six months, according to a Nov. 15 health system news release shared with Becker’s. The board opted to move forward with a leadership transition immediately.
Julie Huffman has been appointed interim CEO, most recently serving as Delta Health’s senior vice president and chief legal officer.
Mr. Cohee became CEO in July 2024. He joined the organization in December 2023 as COO, according to his LinkedIn profile.
“We have been through times of transition together before,” Ms. Huffman said in the release. “While this news may feel sudden, it is important to remember that Delta Health’s mission — and the heart of who we are — remains unchanged.”
Delta Health comprises a 49-bed hospital and several clinics.
