CNO of Trinity Health in North Dakota to retire

After 40 years in healthcare, Barbra Brown, RN, BSN, vice president of clinical services and CNO of Trinity Health in Minot, N.D., has announced she will retire.

Ms. Brown joined Trinity Health in 2010, where she led several initiatives to improve care quality and patient safety. Under her leadership, more than 80 international nurses were recruited, and Trinity Health increased its support for nurse education, increasing its nurse scholarships from 16 to 24 students.

Before joining Trinity Health, Ms. Brown was nurse executive at a Magnet hospital in Vermont.
