Cincinnati VA hospital hires new chief of staff amid controversy

The new chief of medicine at the Cincinnati Veterans Affairs Medical Center is Ralph Panos, MD. Dr. Panos is replacing Barbara Temeck, MD, who was removed from the position on Feb. 25, according to a Cincinnati Business Courier report.

Dr. Temeck’s removal came after serious allegations of wrongdoing were leveled against her.

Dr. Panos is a professor in the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine’s Department of Internal Medicine.
