Nick Arledge was appointed CEO of Merit Health River Region in Vicksburg, Miss., effective Aug. 11, according to a hospital news release shared with Becker’s.
Mr. Arledge joins the 261-bed facility from Carlsbad (N.M.) Medical Center, where he served as CEO since April 2021.
He also previously held positions as interim CEO of TMC Bonham (Texas) Hospital, and as director of physician and ambulatory services for the same regional health system, according to the release.
In his new role, he succeeds interim CEO Mark Gregson.
Merit Health River Region is part of Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems.
